  • Do not use concurrently with antidepressants (SSRI / SNRI / MAOI) — risk of serotonin syndrome.
  • Do not use concurrently with oral contraceptives, warfarin, digoxin, immunosuppressants, anti-HIV medication, or chemotherapy agents (St John’s Wort induces CYP3A4 / P-gp and reduces drug efficacy).
  • Not for use in pregnancy, breastfeeding, or in minors.
  • Use with caution in hyperthyroidism (Ashwagandha may elevate T4).
  • Use with caution in bipolar disorder (potential to trigger manic switch).
